Matthew Zimmer, DMD
Dr. Matthew Zimmer is an experienced Pediatric Dental Specialist originally from Long Island, New York. He graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University and afterwards attended the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine on academic scholarship where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors in research. Dr. Zimmer completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York and has been practicing in North Carolina since 2016.
Before Dr. Zimmer is a dentist caring for children, he is a dad of two boys and a couple of Maltese Poodles at home right here in Mooresville! When outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Marisa and their family including playing pickleball, tennis, swimming, and spending the day on Lake Norman. Dr. Zimmer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
