Ojas Parikh, DDS
Dr. Ojas Parikh was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Maryland, where he earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park. After spending two years in Mumbai, India, studying comparative philosophy, he returned to the U.S. to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he received awards for leadership and service.
Dr. Parikh completed his postdoctoral specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also earned a Master of Science Degree in Dentistry (M.S.D.) for his research on moderate oral sedation drug regimens. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Parikh holds hospital privileges at Carolinas Healthcare System at University and Main Charlotte Hospitals, as well as the Valleygate Surgery Center, where he also serves as the Dental Director. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Parikh enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and newborn son, exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and reading. He used to be the beatboxer for his college acapella group, so if you’re up for some musical fun, don’t hesitate to ask him to drop a beat!
